【新たな価値を創造】【23卒】 ＡＢＢ 総合職の通過ES(エントリーシート) No.66770（非公開/男性）（2022/1/20公開）

　私には「社会や人に残る仕事をする」という目標があります。そのために力をいれたことが研究です。学部1年次から研究を開始し、2年次からは学会発表、3年次には海外での調査などの活動を積極的に行いました。研究を通して、答えのない問いに対する向き合い方やかみ砕いて相手に伝える術など多くのことを学びました。成長の実感を得た一方で、別に感じたことが自分の無力さです。研究に励む中で、研究と社会の間にギャップがあること痛感し、ただ研究に励むだけでは自身の目標を達成できないのだと感じました。 　そこで、目標の要素を分解し、どのような仕事が残っていくのかを考えました。その結果の自分なりの答えが「新しい価値を提供し、課題を解決した仕事」です。これが達成できるか否かを会社選びの基準として就職活動をしています。その中で見つけた会社がABBです。貴社はテクノロジーを利用して社会に新しい価値を提供、課題を解決しています。さらにサステナビリティについても取り組み、社会性と収益性の両立という面でもとても魅力的な企業だと感じます。このような環境で価値を社会に提供し、社会に残る仕事を成し遂げたいと思い、この度応募いたしました。 続きを読む

I have the goal which is “creating value that remains in society or people.” So, I put effort into research in my university days. I experienced many different things, for example, doing a survey in India, conference presentations and so on. Through my research, I learned a lot of things such as how to deal with unexplained questions and how to explain in an easy-to-understand manner. On the other hand, I noticed that there was a gap between academia and society, and I felt that I couldn’t achieve my goal just by working hard on research. Therefore, I analyzed my goal and thought about what kind of work would remain. Through the analysis, I felt that a job that provides values and solves problems would remain. Then, I found ABB. Your company is crating values by using technologies and working on sustainability. I felt very attractive company in terms of compatibility of social contribution and profitability.
