【未来を切り拓く分析力】【23卒】 ゴールドマン・サックス証券 投資銀行部門の通過ES(エントリーシート) No.66406（非公開/非公開）（2022/1/14公開）

投資銀行部門への志望理由は以下２点。1点目は、私のキャリア目標との一致である。当該目標は、「日本の企業へ貢献し、携わった企業の価値を向上させる」ことだ。その点で、投資銀行業務においては、資金調達及びM&Aアドバイザリーによって企業の成長に実行力を持って貢献できる。中でも、貴社は世界的な投資銀行業務の世界においても大きなプレゼンスを誇っており、企業への貢献を実感できるのではないかと思われる。2点目は、成長環境が整っていると感じたことだ。日系投資銀行等と比較して貴社の社員数は少なく、若手のうちから裁量権が大きい。更に、裁量権に比例して責任や良質なアウトプットが求められる。こうした環境を若手の内から経験できることは、内実を伴った早期成長が見込まれる。また、なぜ「日本の企業へ貢献し、携わった企業の価値を向上する」ことをキャリア目標とするのか、私の塾講師としての活動をもとに述べたい。大学受験講師として、高校3年生の指導に携わっているが、生徒の志望校合格による喜びの姿を見て、他者への貢献について大きなやりがいを感じた。また、対象を、日本の企業とする理由は、貢献の結果が目に見えることだ。塾講師としての経験では、偏差値や合格実績など明確であり、企業もその財務諸表から如何にインパクトを与えたか明確である。 続きを読む

My strong point is the ability to analyze various conditions including corporate financial positions and economic status. There are three factors for this capability. First factor is that I acquired Bookkeeping Certificate-Nissho 1st grade last year. Since then, I tried examining financial statements of many companies. Second one is that I have learnt about regression analysis, using the programming code of Python. Specifically, I investigate the correlation between the likelihood of government bond default and its financial or political conditions. Lastly, I have played football as a center back, which require me to analyze the playing style of opponent forwards in order to steal the ball or intercept passes. In my team, I got the first place on the percentage of taking balls from opponent players through the analysis.
