【未知への挑戦、成功への道】【23卒】 ゴールドマン・サックス証券 投資銀行部門の通過ES(エントリーシート) No.76640（非公開/非公開）（2022/5/10公開）

まず、私が証券会社を志望する理由は3つあります。1つは、大学院ではXXXXの研究を行っており、分析的な思考や数字・数式を多用する仕事には慣れているため、自分には金融業界の業務には適性があると考えていることです。2つ目は、趣味で株式の運用を始めたことがきっかけで金融取引の奥深さを知り、金融商品の売買を仕事にしてみたいと思うようになったことが挙げられます。そして最後の理由としては、ダイナミックかつ世界レベルでスケールが大きく、それでいて正当な報酬を得られる仕事を選びたいと思っているからです。低金利のこの時代においては、間接金融よりも直接金融においてそのような仕事ができると私は考えています。その中でゴールドマン・サックスの投資銀行部門を志望するのは、先に述べた3つの理由にぴったり符合していると思うからです。その上、これらの業務は証券会社の中核をなす、グローバル経済のダイナミズムを肌で感じられる興味深い仕事であり、世界経済を深く知れるのが魅力だと思っています。また、これらの仕事が決して楽ではないことは十分承知していますし、私はむしろファーストキャリアとしてハードワークを積み、自分の能力の限界を確かめたいと考えています。私は、ゴールドマン・サックスという世界一の刺激的な環境で、素晴らしい仕事仲間との相互作用を通じて成長しながら働きたいです。 続きを読む

I believe that my strengths lie in the following three areas: "pioneering willpower,"the ability to dive into new things and continue to take on new challenges;"analytical thinking," the ability to set goals and consider the factors necessary to reach them; and "mental strength," the ability never to give up until achieving goals. One example is that I was a member of the rowing club in high school. I had no experience of rowing sports at first, and not sure if I could do it. However, my curiosity pushed me to join them. After that, I exploited my strengths, namely my analytical and mental capacities, and practiced hard and effectively. As a result, I achieved great success by participating in the Kanto Tournament.
