I will show you about my experience of debate in seminar. There are 4 games and 1 month preparatory period each game. For example, we handled the subject that “SONY should maximize the shareholder's value”. Throughout, I always have sense of ownership and give primary consideration to team’s output.
The most difficult things are keeping up member’s motivation and consensus building. For the former, I fulfill high morale by clarifying member’s role and objective. For the latter, I strive to get member’s consensus by showing quantitative data and set up criteria. Thorough the experience, I leaned the importance not to focus on logic. I will be trying to make use of this experience into something positive by discussing with my team-mate enthusiastically, not but logically.
